A local man was arrested on charges that he threatened a Spring Lake Road resident with a gun. , 53, of 236 Spring Lake Road was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 15 and charged with first degree threatening, carrying a firearm under the influence and second degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $50,000 with a January 27 court date. According to police, the victim said Pepe came to his residence and an argument ensued. The victim told police that Pepe pointed a gun at him during the argument. Police said Pepe admitted to confronting the victim while in possession of a firearm, but said he never pointed it at him. Police determined that Pepe was under the influence of alcohol and took him into custody without incident.
